The Dynamite Studios Australia Teacher Training course is perfect for aspiring dance teachers, studio owners who wish to formalise their qualifications, student teachers seeking further training, or trainers wishing to upskill their current knowledge and understanding of dance education. Our course includes a diverse range of units and areas of study, from anatomy and first aid to behaviour management, lesson planning, and marketing.

Students enrolled in our Teacher Training course are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to build a sustainable career as a dance teacher or administrator.

CUA40320 Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management This qualification reflects the technique and skills required for a variety of performance contexts. Students are equipped with a diverse range of specialised technical, creative, and conceptual skills, essential for excelling in their chosen styles. At this level, students are expected to apply initiative and judgement in their individual practice.

CUAWHS405 Provide a safe performing arts environment for children
CUAWHS413 Incorporate anatomy principles into skill development
CUADTM402 Teach basic classical ballet dance technique
CUADTM404 Teach basic jazz dance technique
CUADTM405 Teach basic contemporary dance technique
CUAIND311 Work effectively in the creative arts industry
CUAMKG311 Assist with marketing and promotion
CUAADM311 Book rehearsal and performance venues and administer bookings
*Delivered on behalf of a specialist Third Party RTO Provider (RTO 32268)

  • $4,000 AUD per annum, plus additional extras;
  • $195 AUD once-off enrolment fee;
  • $1,000 AUD non-refundable deposit due upon enrolment (this amount is deducted from total course fees).
  • The prospective student’s application being fully completed;
  • residency status (Australian or New Zealand citizens, or overseas residents with the ability to obtain a visa);
  • English language proficiency;
  • A successful audition for one of our accredited courses, whether online or face-to-face;
  • submission of required documents, including the student’s USI;
  • qualification/course eligibility and prerequisites being met;
  • fees paid as per our policy;
  • signed consent to our terms and conditions.
Participate in either an in-person audition (through our in-house Experience Days or global tour); or submit an online application (via video submission), demonstrating strong dance ability in at least three (3) styles; and participate in an online or in-person interview with our staff.
