The Diploma of Musical Theatre course is an intensive two-year training program for students who have the potential to achieve excellent standards in the three core disciplines of Singing, Acting and Dance. This program aims for each student to develop the rigor and skill to be competitive in the industry and graduate with highly developed skills in dancing, singing and acting. The program is driven by industry professionals and delivered by practicing artists. Training is practical, with a distribution of classes in singing, acting and dance, in ensemble, solo and musical theatre repertoire. Students will get the opportunity throughout the program to showcase their skills in live performance. DSA offers their Diploma of Musical Theatre as a full time program that follows the Queensland School Term Timetable. The Diploma of Musical Theatre runs four days a week from 9:00am to 3:30pm. Monday - Thursday, with a half day on Friday from 9:00am – 1:00pm.
